General workforce datasets include:
-Occupation Data: This multi-purpose site selection, recruitment, and marketing dataset provides an in-depth look at a local workforce. It includes number of workers for 750 occupations, each occupation's percent of the workforce, and the Workforce Occupation Index™ (WOI), which provides each occupation's employment concentration when compared to the figures for the U.S.
-Geo-Skill™ Data: indicates the signficance of skills in local workplaces. It includes the portion of the workforce where each skill is significant to local job performance and the Geo-Skills Index™ (GSI), which compares each skill's concentration to the figures for the U.S. Includes data for 43 skills and Workforce Preparation which is based on overall education, training, and experience.
-High-Tech Occupations provides a look at the technical capacity of a local workforce. It includes the number and percent of workers for 71 high-tech occupations and the Workforce Occupation Index™ (WOI).
Industry specific data is for:
Elder Living, Financial & Back-Office & Middle-Office, Health Care, Hotel/Motel, Logistics, Manufacturing, Office Professional, Office Administrative and Support, and Retail industries.
Industry specific datasets include:
-Number of businesses and employees (business counts) and the percent of workforce for specified 4-digit NAICS industry codes. It also includes the Industry Employment Index™ (IEI), which indicates industry employment concentration when compared to the figures for the U.S.
-Employment in the industry's top occupations based on the national industry average, percent of employment for each occupation, and the Workforce Occupation Index™ (WOI).
-Industry's top 10 skills based on the national industry average, including the Geo-Skills Index™ (GSI), for the specified industry.
